Burger #17 – The Frog Burger (The Fickle Frog)

After a bit of a break from the burger life (sometimes work gets in the way), I figured it was time to get back to it. For this burger, I went to a favourite place of mine, The Fickle Frog. Located at 5675 Spring Garden Road, The Fickle Frog is a great place to grab a beer and a meal without having to go deep into downtown Halifax. With a wide range of food on their menu, there is sure to be something to satisfy even the most pickiest of eaters. For this burger, I went with The Frog Burger.

Stats

Burger #16 – Big Eats (Eats Mobile)

From the moment I heard “Food Truck Party” I knew there was no way that I was going to pass up on this opportunity. The Coast (a popular Halifax paper) hosted this wonderful Food Truck Party in the parking lot of the Museum of Natural History. Unsure of what burger related things I would find there, I eventually settled on the Eats Mobile food truck and their Big Eats burger.

*For this burger, I’m not going to do the ratings as I feel that this is a special circumstance and it wouldn’t be fair to compare it with the other burgers.

Stats

From the menu: “A 7oz handmade 100% beef patty loaded with lettuce, tomato, & sautéed onion”

Located at 6092 Quinpool Road, Freeman’s has become a pretty popular spot for both beer-drinkers and late night eaters. I had eaten here many times before, and also had food delivered for numerous late night meals (they deliver until 5 AM!). For this burger, I went with the Fiery Smokehouse Cheddar Burger.

For burger #8, I decided to change it up a little bit and do some finer dining. I went to The Five Fishermen, located at 1740 Argyle Street, not knowing quite what to expect. They only have one burger on their menu, and it is titled the Sirloin Burger.
